Norway is located on the European continent and shares a border with the countries Sweden, Finland and Russia.  Norway also boasts coastline along the North Atlantic Ocean, which included the Norwegian Sea and the North Sea.

The country of Norway is 323,802 square kilometers. When compared to the United States (which has a landmass of 8,080.064 square km) it is just 4.01% the size. 

Norway is mostly harsh glaciated mountain terrain dotted with high plateaus and even boasts arctic tundra to the far north. The country is also home to one of the largest coastlines in the world, which has numerous islands and inlets, or as the Norwegians would call them, fjords.
